Answers to the questions coaches ask us most.
Getting Started
Do I need a card to start a trial?
No. Starter and Pro both come with a 14-day free trial, and no card is required to start it.
Which plan should I pick after the trial?
That depends on how many active clients you have. Starter covers up to 10 active clients; Pro covers up to 50. You can pick whichever fits your business once the trial ends, and move between them as you grow.
What does onboarding involve?
Onboarding walks you through setting up your brand (logo and colours for your branded app), creating the packages you’ll sell to clients, and building out your training, diet, and supplement plans so you’re ready to invite your first client.
Billing & Subscriptions
Does Babu take a cut of what I charge clients?
No. Starter and Pro both run at 0% transaction fees — you keep what you charge your clients.
What happens when I hit my client cap?
Your client cap is the number of active, paying clients your plan allows. If you reach it, new client sign-ups pause until you free up a space or upgrade to a higher plan — existing clients are never removed because you’re at the limit.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my access?
You can cancel any time from the billing portal. Cancelling stops future billing, and you keep access to the Services for the rest of the period you’ve already paid for.
Clients & Plans
How do I bring clients onto Babu?
Invite them directly by email, or share your own coaching page and let them sign up themselves. Either way, they land inside your branded app under your business.
Can I build plans for each client, or reuse them?
Both. Build training, diet, and supplement plans from scratch for an individual client, or create templates once and assign them to multiple clients to save time.
Can I customise check-ins?
Yes — check-ins use your own forms, so you can ask exactly what you need to track progress, whether that’s photos, measurements, or how a client’s week went.
Your Branded App
Do clients need to download anything from an app store?
No. Clients install your app straight from their browser — there’s no app store listing to publish or approve.
What does “branded” actually mean?
Your logo, your colours, and your own domain, throughout the whole client experience — clients see your business, not Babu.
Can clients get notifications?
Yes, the app supports push notifications, so clients can be notified about new messages, check-in reminders, and other updates from you.
